For residential customers, private utilities may include gas lines for a heated pool, underground power lines for irrigation systems, sprinkler systems, underground power lines between your house and garage or shop; or, marking utilities for excavation and a building site.
For commercial customers, private utilities may include parking lot lighting, boring holes, building-to-building utilities and marking utilities before excavation.
